These terms cover your use of the Hop Tales app. By downloading or using Hop Tales, you agree to them.

Your licence to use the app

We give you a personal, non-transferable licence to use Hop Tales on Apple devices you own or control, as permitted by the App Store's Usage Rules. You may not copy, modify, reverse-engineer or redistribute the app.

Our content

The stories, characters, artwork, sounds and software in Hop Tales belong to Hop Tales and are protected by copyright and other laws. Using the app doesn't give you any ownership of them.

No warranty

Hop Tales is provided "as is". We work hard to make it reliable and helpful, but we don't promise that it will be error-free, that speech recognition will understand every word, or that it will meet any particular educational outcome.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, Hop Tales is not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of the app. Where liability can't be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid for the app.

Apple's terms

Hop Tales is distributed through the App Store. Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement applies to your download and use of the app, alongside these terms. Apple is not responsible for the app or its content.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of British Columbia, Canada, and the federal laws of Canada that apply there.

Changes

If these terms change, we'll update them here and change the date at the top.
